Shaanxi Coal Industry Co., Ltd. reported a rise in June coal output from a year earlier, while sales declined.

The company produced 14.46 million tonnes of coal in June 2026, up 0.7% year on year, while sales of self-produced coal fell 9.49% to 13.07 million tonnes, according to a July 6 filing.

For the first half of 2026, cumulative coal output reached 91.17 million tonnes, up 4.3% from the same period last year, with self-produced coal sales totaling 83.66 million tonnes, a 3.45% increase.

In June, the company's total power generation stood at 3.35 TWh, down 11.86% year on year, while electricity sales fell 12.40% to 3.14 TWh.

During January-June, cumulative power generation reached 19.08 TWh, up 7.39% from a year earlier, with electricity sales rising 7.98% to 17.95 TWh.
